Haelee Essebaggers is the 18 year old daughter of Craig and Dianne

Essebaggers from Sun River, Montana. Haelee has held the titles of Miss

Big Sky ProRodeo Roundup Princess 2014 and Miss Southeastern MT

Rodeo Teen Queen 2016. She received 1 st runner up at Miss Teen Rodeo

Montana in 2016

Haelee is currently a senior at Charles M. Russell High School in Great

Falls where she has been on the CMR honor roll for four consecutive

years. She is involved with Big Brothers/Big Sisters at her school through

the Rustler Buddies program where she dedicates time each week being a

positive role model in a young child’s life. Haelee is a 4 year member of

the Electric City FFA where she competes in horse judging, livestock

evaluation and veterinary science. As a 4-H member since 2012, Haelee

enjoys showing her horses in Showmanship, Trail, Ranch Horse, Colt to

Maturity, Western Horsemanship, Barrels, English Horsemanship and

Equitation classes at various shows. Haelee also competes in 4-H horse

where she has had the opportunity to travel to the Denver Western National

Roundup in 2014 after her team won 1 st at State 4-H Congress in

Bozeman.

Haelee started high school rodeo during her junior year. She has competed

in goat tying and barrel racing with her 4 year old horse in both the spring

and fall seasons. When Haelee isn’t competing in a rodeo, she can be

found spending time with her family and friends, camping, fishing, bull

riding, and training horses.

After high school, Haelee will be attending MSU Bozeman in the fall to earn

a degree in Equine Science and pursue a specialty in being a horse

chiropractor. Through the MSU Equine Science program, Haelee plans to

start her career in horse veterinary science and horse chiropractics.
